Reggie Miller 2004-2005 Season

In a season that saw the Pacers decimated by injuries and disciplinary troubles, Reggie became the first option on offense again for the first time in 3 seasons at the age of 39. Beginning in mid-February through the end of the regular season, he scored more than 20 points 11 times and more than 30 points four times. He then led the Pacers to a first-round upset of the Boston Celtics. In his final game and the game already decided, Pacers Coach Rick Carlisle called a timeout to allow Reggie to come off the court to applause. When the timeout ended, opposing Head Coach Larry Brown called another timeout to allow an extended standing ovation.
